Space Technologies
I was a little hesitant about joining this program but I'm so so so glad I went through with this opportunity. I've learned about different technologies that will impact the future. I've grown, not only as an Innovator but also as a person. The Directors taught me mindsets that opened my eyes and I started doing things that actually make sense. Along the way, I met some of my best friends. These kids are some of the smartest, most ambitious young people I have ever meet. The community in the program is insanely close, regardless of the fact that we all live all over the world. If you put in the time, you'll see your own growth right away. I recommend TKS for any teenager who can see that the world needs help and is willing to put in the time and effort to be part of the group that will change the world. Prove to the world that when it comes to impacting the world and innovation, your age doesn't matter.
I was judging my achievements based on the percentages on my tests and transcripts, not realizing the ability I had to expand my knowledge. My sight was limited to school, sports, and school-based extra curriculars.
During her time at TKS, Krupal explored space technologies like Ion Thrusters, and nanotechnology as a potential for cancer treatment. She got to participate in a TKS Boss Ladies talk with her hero, Natalie Panek!
After graduating from TKS and high school, Krupal is now studying Engineering at the University of Alberta. She’s also the organization manager at Ignition Science, automating the organization and managing outreach.
