•
Internet Of Things (IoT)
It’s a program that's allowed me to learn about subjects I’ve never even heard about before such as quantum computing and programmable materials, all in a week or less! And it’s not even hard! TKS is so personal and customisable with how much work load I take on, which really fits into my lifestyle. The network and community is incredible here too, I’ve made friends from all over the world who all want to do big things in life, and I have access to alumni and mentors who also want to genuinely help me grow.
Before TKS my daily life consisted of waking up, doing 7 hours of school, doing nothing and repeating. Now instead of doing nothing afterwards I can work on cool projects, learn about fascinating new topics, or socialise with bright individuals. Before TKS my life goal was to get into a good college to get a good job. Now it’s to learn and create, finding a good job isn't even a worry for me right now, there's so many options of things to do in the world that I hadn’t even considered or knew that existed before!
I’ve been in TKS for a few months but I’ve learned enough to confidently explain concepts of AI, Blockchain, Gene Editing, Longevity, IoT, and BCI’s to someone who’s never learned about them. I’ve also taken part in a hackathon where I devised a brain computer interface that would detect + stop panic attacks using tDCS which are electric signals. Aside from this I found out about an event in NY happening called NFT@NYC where not only did I learn and see really cool things which the blockchain and NFT uproar, but I got to meet other innovators who flew in from all around the world. Right now in TKS im focusing on working with IoT to build a humidity sensor that relays data over the internet to a formatted google doc.
