I learned how to break down problems with first-principles thinking, leverage scientific principles to create products, capture the attention of a room through the authenticity of my words, optimize my physical and mental health, and take the next step towards self-improvement.
Before TKS, I felt unsupported on my journey and incapable of achieving greater. I was hyperfocused on doing well in school, sacrificing sleep, exercise, and nutrition to maintain my high average. I spread myself across 15 different extracurriculars, spent 6-8 hours a day on homework, and signed up for almost every club. I did so many things (many just for the sake of it) that I didn't really know who I was or what I wanted.
I started building decentralized applications and other blockchain-related projects to tackle global issues, such as insecure property rights, cyberattacks on power plants, AI bias, and expiry of donated blood, winning various hackathons and other competitions that allowed me to present my ideas to leading tech companies. By April of Innovate, I was reached out to on LinkedIn and offered a job as a smart contract developer at a global fintech company. I got to consult for various companies and organizations including Instacart, BenchSci, and the United Nations, all the while meeting with scientists such as Internet Hall of Fame inductee Mahabir Pun. I also founded a moonshot company called AeroPure using polysaccharide aerogel beads to remove chemical contaminants from polluted drinking water that has since received $4000 in seed funding. Along with my chemistry olympiad accolades and leading my international non-profit, I've been featured and interviewed in various magazines and podcasts.
